Gilgen Door Systems AG is a supplier of drive devices and complete configurations for door and gate systems. The company, which was founded in 1961, has its headquarters in the Swiss town of Schwarzenburg. Gilgen’s worldwide workforce of around a thousand employees is dedicated to ensuring the maximum availability of the company’s automatic systems. Gilgen Door Systems operates via representative sales and service partners in the key markets of Europe, Asia and elsewhere overseas, and also runs subsidiaries and wholly owned customer-service centres in Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Austria and Hong Kong.

Since 2011, Gilgen Door Systems AG has formed part of the Nabtesco Group, a global supplier of systems and components. Quoted on the Japanese stock exchange, the company is based in Tokyo.
